Song for the Climate

Join us this Sunday 3rd October as XRW and other members of Winchester Together for Our Planet send a message to our politicians as they prepare for the global climate summit (COP26) in Glasgow next month.  We will be joining with local choirs and singing groups to sing the internationally known “Song for the Climate”.  Listen here.

Also, at the same time, the Spanish group “Marcha Glasgow” will be striding into Winchester on their way to the Glasgow summit. They will be welcomed by us and will sing a Spanish song and say a few words about their 1000km trek across the UK to Glasgow.  

So, join us at the Cathedral Outer Close at 16:30 on Sunday. A conductor, words and music will be waiting!

On Monday 4th 10:00 AM, Marcha Glasgow will embark upon the next leg of their journey.  Join them on their walk to Andover for as little or long as you like.  We're starting at the Guildhall - be great to see you there!
